When my car's warmed up and beng driven a little harder than normal I've noticed my clutch slipping when I plant my foot down in fifth.
I've tried adjusting the pedal but that didn't solve the problem. I know under harder conditions the clutch fluid can get hot and expand causing this to happen. So I'm wondering.... As my clutch doesn't bite ntil the pedal is a good half way lifted off the floor, could I solve the problem by having alittle less clutch fluid or do I have to bite the bullet and get a new clutch fitted?
Also, I've been told by a mehanic that the crank seal needs replacing as when I ride the clutch rolling at low speed and revs it makes a crappy noise. b ut this is a cheap andsimple thing to do when replacing the clutch right?
